Armchair’s roto-mold, as in every other aluminum mold, is manufactured following steps described briefly below:

  • Product’s firstly modeled in a 3d modelling software.

This model is used in almost every step so it needs to be precise and final.

  • The model is then used in manufacturing of cast aluminum.
  • The cast aluminum is then machined using a CNC machine.
  • After polishing, adding the inserts, and the clamping system the mold will be ready to use.

Aluminum molds, when compared to molds fabricated from stainless steel sheets or iron sheets, have better final results. Custom surface finishes and textures are also achievable. Alongside inserts of any type, material, or size customer’s custom brand and additional texts can be embossed onto the product’s surface.

Using FEA (Finite element analysis) the product’s performance under real conditions will be evaluated and therefore fixing the design flaws and preventing failures as much as possible.
