Water storage tanks have different shapes, dimensions and ingredients. As mentioned in the previous articles, three-layer polyethylene tanks are more suitable for when the tank is exposed to direct sunlight.
But if the tank is in a warehouse, parking lot or in places where there is no sunlight, you can choose a double or single layer tank.
It was also stated that tanks with a vertical geometric shape have higher endurance and a more reasonable price.

Now the question is, what is the capacity of the tank that we want to get?
To answer this question, the following should be considered:
1- History of water cut
2- The number of people for whom water storage should be done
As a standard, two people need 135 liters of water (drinking and sanitary) per day. If in the area where you live, you have a water cut one day a week and three people live in the apartment, you need a tank with a capacity of at least 400 liters.
405 liters = 135*3
Of course, the water pressure entering the tank can also be a determining parameter.
If you are in an area where the water entering your unit usually has low pressure, we suggest you to get a tank with a capacity of two liters.
