The best and most resistant geometric shape for water storage tanks is a vertical cylinder. Liquid storage containers, such as oil company tanks, are designed and built as vertical cylinders. Other shapes such as horizontal, oval or cube are not recommended for water tanks and bulk liquid storage tanks. If you do not have a lack of space in the place where you want to install the tank, it is better to use vertical tanks with a larger base.

What color should the water tank be?

If you are in tropical areas, make sure that the water storage tank used is white in order to reduce the heat of the water inside the tank due to the reflection of sunlight.
Choose three-layer tanks, the wall inside of which is made of sanitary and food grade materials.
